Career Experience

Over the past 16 years, I have been a teacher in public schools, learning centers, and about a year ago, I began tutoring online. I have worked with children in grades pre-K to 8th grade as well as special education students and adults.

I Love Tutoring Because

I love being able to help children have that "lightbulb" moment. As a tutor, I get to work with smaller groups of children and adapt lessons to the type of learner they are. Every child learns differently, and as a tutor, I can help children learn and grow however it is best for them. I aim to give my students the tools they need to be successful in their learning environment.

Jennifer is amazing!! Heaven sent literally. We both look forward to meeting with her. After last session, he kept asking when he would have another session. So today he was super motivated and he rocked it. We will be meeting with her again.

I would like to thank my tutor for the time they have dedicated to help me in my academic endeavors. They make everything they teach easy to understand and are a fun teacher, which makes learning easy. This tutor has been such a help, explaining new concepts and assisting me with my homework. I am grateful for the knowledge and skills that I am gaining and believe it is mostly due to this tutor's help, their explanations of difficult concepts, and their patience with my many questions.
